After more than 8 years in corporate careers, we yearned for the freedom and decision-making life style of owning our own business. Our experience in direct sales taught us valuable lessons, but achieving the desired results remained elusive. The birth of our first child became a catalyst for reevaluating our future beyond traditional employment. It was our first breakthrough.
Through an acquaintance, we discovered a start-up restaurant franchise opportunity that beckoned us to relocate two hours away from home. It was a leap into the unknown—a new brand, a new business model, and a new community. Despite the risks, we thrived. Our quick-service restaurant quickly rose to the top in sales within the franchise network, marking a peak in our entrepreneurial journey. It was our second breakthrough.
Driven by our success and aiming to scale, we expanded to a second location with ambitious goals. However, the onset of a global pandemic shook the foundations of everything we had built. Every aspect of our business—from employees to inventory cost—was profoundly affected. It felt like a reset button had been pressed against our will, leaving us uncertain about our next steps. We needed a breakthrough.
Faced with immense challenges, we embarked on a journey of reinvention. We fought to redefine our business model, rebrand our services, and attract new customers, but nothing seemed to click. Amidst uncertainty, we made a bold decision to pivot our focus entirely, trusting that clarity would emerge from our faith-driven determination.
**Trusting in God's provision and focusing on the present rather than being anxious about the future!**
